Ex corporate computers - a definition
Ex corporate computers usually come from large businesses or government bodies - hospitals, councils etc.
These computers are frequently supplied without disks (for reinstallation purposes) and have the original C.O.A. (Certificate of Authenticity) attached to the case
They may also have security tags or the case permenently etched for identification purposes
These computers are most likely, by their origin, to have had a hard life and possibly been shown little respect
Usually ex corporate computers come with a short warranty period - possibly as little as thirty days
Expect to pay less for an ex corporate computer that has had minimal refurbishment

All disks and licences (where relevant), to allow a full reinstall, should be included - especially the Operating System (Microsoft Windows) disk
Comprehensive support from the vendor
A long warranty period - ideally 12 months
Expect to pay more for a fully refurbished computer
