It’s the latest thing – storing your data online.
Or as it’s known – on the “Cloud”
Sounds marvellous – but how safe is your data?
You know your data is being stored online – but where?
In theory your data is safe and secure – but where is it actually being stored?
It could be anywhere in the world – you may never know.
Anyone may have access to your data – you may never know.
What happens if your personal data, stored on the “Cloud” becomes corrupted or lost – does anyone take responsibility for what could be years of work?
If you don’t know where it is or who may have access to it, it’s like saving your data onto a memory stick and asking a total stranger to look after it, not look at it and not make it available to anyone else – would you be happy doing that?
Would you trust a total stranger with your treasured photos, personal documents etc. – I think not!
If you saved your data to a memory stick or other local device - at least you would know where it was!
